Our Salons are also home to our Beauty rooms, a calm and tranquil space where you can relax and unwind letting the stresses and strains of your busy life fade away, We’ve got beauty treatments to suit you whether you’re female, a teenager, mum or granny, using Rootcare, Aveda, Dermalogica, Fake Bake, Jessica, Minx Nails to name a few, and if you’re looking for semi-permanent make up and Botox, we have visiting professionals who provide these specialist services in our beauty salon too.

How to Straighten Curly Hair

Step-by-step

  • Comb through your wet hair and apply L’Oréal Kérastase Oléo Relax Serum, apply to mid-length and ends
  • Dry your hair to release some of the moisture
  • Section your hair and blow dry straight using a round brush, use tension to ensure hair will stay in place whilst straight. Ensure the ends are smooth and bevel under slightly
  • You can use the straightening irons to ensure all hair is straight, glide through the mid length and ends, keeping the ends bevelled
  • Because you have already used product in your hair whilst wet, you don’t need to apply anymore but for that extra shine, spray Tigi Head Rush shine spray

    • As much as curly hair looks fantastic, if you have naturally curly or unruly hair and can’t manage it or simply love the change of wearing it straight, this video clip will show you how to blow dry and straighten those lovely locks. You’ll also learn how to keep hair straight until your next wash. The products in this clip are perfect for your desired look but please consult your stylist for recommendations to match your personal hair type.

    How to Create a Prom Ponytail

    Step-by-step

  • Separate a long section from the front of your hair
  • Brush your hair into a tight ponytail at about a 45 degree angle, make sure to remove any bumps with a comb and fasten
  • Backcomb hair from the loose section separated earlier to create height
  • Smooth the section over to the back of your head near the ponytail and spray to hold
  • Lightly twist and secure with kirby grips
  • Curl sections of the ponytail (hold for about 10 seconds and release)
  • Brush out the curls to loosen up the look for a more contemporary feel
  • Finally pick a few sections of hair and curl and secure near ponytail for added volume

    How to Create a Ponytail

    Step-by-step

  • Use a comb with fine, natural bristles instead of a comb to enable you to get a tight ponytail
  • Start from underneath the hair at about a 45 degree angle
  • Keep brushing and using your fingers to gather all hair without bumps
  • Finally fasten while keeping a tight grip on your hair

    How to Style a Bob

    Step-by-step

  • Comb through your bob
  • Use a volumising lotion if you have fine hair, if you have thick or naturally volumised hair, use a small amount of L’Oréal Kérastase Aqua-Oleum to your mid-length and ends
  • Start to blow dry your hair, starting with the back, using the nozzle, blow down the hair flow and then using a medium round brush smooth out the ends
  • On the crown area, blow dry the hair up to create lift and height
  • Blow dry the sides forward and direct the nozzle in the direction of your hair flow
  • To hold the style and create shine, use a light hair spray or shine spray, such as Tigi Head Rush

    • This classic and versatile haircut will always be a popular choice. There are many ways to style a bob, as seen by Katie Holmes, Anika Noni Rose and Carey Mulligan, but follow these simple steps at blow-drying a classic graduated bob.     How to Curl your Hair

    Step-by-step

  • Take clean sections into your hair, use L’Oréal Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray as it’s light and weightless
  • Comb through your hair from the root, curl your hair (not from the root) and twist using your straightening irons, this takes practice, ask your stylists to show you how
  • Do this all the way up to the top of your hair
  • Dress out your hair running your fingertips through your hair lightly giving your hair a natural look, your hair will still retain its curl
  • Apply a light weight serum in order to keep the look from being weighed down and finish with your hair spray.
